Today we left our fabulous hosts for the past few days. Keith and Janet have made us feel most comfortable and have provided us with a memorable experience. Hopefully we can return the favour some time in the future.
Our trip on the train took 4.5 hours to go from Edinburgh to London. We met a couple from Australia, who just recently got engaged and were on their way to Greece for a friend's wedding. The conversation helped pass the time.
London will be our base for the next 10 days. It was an amazing experience to pass well known landmarks, such as Westminster Abbey and Big Ben on our way to the hotel. We are looking forward this last phase of our vacation.
We are staying at the Windermere Hotel in the Pimlico section of South West London. The room is very small ut functional and quaint. Marg did a wonderful job in finding this little gem.
