Happy Canada Day.
Today, during the afternoon, we travelled from Carlisle to Edinburgh Scotland with Janet and Keith. We are staying close to the Royal Mile, so it should be a busy sight seeing day tomorrow.
For dinner we went to the Scran and Scallie Restaurant. The food was one of the better meals we have had.
Marg found a table of Canadians and wished them a Happy Canada Day. The locals must have wondered what the fuss was about.
We were joined by Olive, Becky and her husband David. We meet these fine people on our last holiday to New Zealand and Australia. David recently got a new job with his bank and moved to Edinburgh. Their apartment is close enough to his work, he can walk to work by going down the Royal Mile.
